Formula E Campaign System

Formula E races take place in 16 cities around the world, so there is a need for a flexible and adaptable campaign system that can be easily implemented by local markets to promote the races. This system should be easy enough to use in a variety of cultural contexts and by markets with different levels of design expertise, while still maintaining a cohesive brand identity

Briefed Minimum System Needs

  • Everything had to have 2 images (minimum)

  • A race title / Headline

  • CTA

  • Logo

  • Date

  • Brand Assets (Torque Loop)

Process to solve

It’s a lot right? Yeah. Especially at 1x1 scale across socials.

But, we wanted to keep the momentum and acceleration of the brand. So adding anchors and a moveable grid system gave us space to create a visual hierarchy depending on the image uses.

As we were handing this to a lot of local markets, we wouldn’t know what the image composition would be so adaptability was the absolute prime need.

We provide basic versions of the campaign to local markets to execute while reserving a premium variation of the system for special moments and social media to be handled in-house.
